The Hymans Robertson Foundation was set up by Hymans Robertson to direct its charitable giving and volunteering activities. Hymans Robertson is the major funder of the Foundation and has committed to donating 2% of its budgeted pre-tax management accounting profits annually to charitable activities, primarily benefiting The Hymans Robertson Foundation.

The Hymans Robertson Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered with the Charities Commission and OSCR. Trustees and members of the Hymans Robertson Foundation are current or retired employees or members of Hymans Robertson. See the profiles of our  Trustees.

In August 2019, we appointed our first CEO. Marcella Boyle is the executive leader of the Foundation and responsible to the Foundation Board. Marcella works with the Hymans Robertson Helping Hands teams across the UK to promote volunteering opportunities for Hymans Robertson staff.  She is also our lead relationship manager for our Foundation charity partners, ensuring that we continue to connect and support our partners in achieving our joint targets. Finally, Marcella is responsible for ensuring that the Foundation operates within OSCR and Charity Commission’s required and best practice legislation and regulatory environment.

Yes, we do so in three ways. We fund charity partners directly see Who does the Hymans Robertson Foundation support?.  These are multi-year funding arrangements.

We support the charitable activities of Hymans Robertson employees and members and offer matched funding for income raised for registered charities which meet our Foundation’s objectives.

Finally, we have partnered with selected charity partners to distribute the Hymans Robertson Bursary: a direct grant to young people who need additional funding to stay in education, learning, training or employment. (The Foundation is not able to accept direct requests for bursary funding.)

For more information on our bursary please see How the Foundation Bursary is making an impact.
